Piranha Designs Website Makeover

With much anticipation for the v1.0.6 release of the Piranha Designs Time Monitor parental control software program we figured now was the time for a site design change. Changing the look and feel of a website is never an easy task. There are many considerations to take into account when modifying a live site. For example, how will the changes affect existing users? Will it be user-friendly? Will the new site handle the capabilities of both current and future needs? We are confident that the changes made are for the better and hope you will agree!
Those of you familiar with the old site will be pleasantly surprised by the new navigation and additional features now available. One of the first changes made was to restructure our navigation system to become not only more user-friendly but also search engine friendly. One of our future goals is to include site search capabilites that will enable our users to better search our site for pertinent information regarding our products and services. As a byproduct of our navigational changes we've made it easier for search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and MSN to better index our site.
Although we are a small company in the software industry (small fish - big ocean) that doesn't mean we can't swim where the bigger fish swim. One example is in graphics and logo creation. Our new site includes the artwork of one of our engineers who decided to spend some time with the GIMP program to come up with a cool new logo and masthead. Our creative talent surfaces once again! There are companies that do nothing but design logos! Also we now have our new Developer Blog section where you can read up on the development side of things to learn how things work from the inside. We hope you find it interesting.
All of the changes made help provide a better marketing position. With more information flowing outward this provides increased access to more users. The increased access provides more visibility to our company.
